The route of the exhibition...

The exhibition is an immersion in the world of gladiatorship under the Roman Empire. The visitor chooses a bracelet to embody a female or male character and slips into the skin of a gladiator or a gladiator to start his historical adventure…

1
The commitment
The gladiators are volunteers, men or women, free or slaves, who engage everywhere in the Roman Empire to exercise this very popular "job" which can bring in a lot of money. To achieve this, they sign a contract with the lanista (owner of the school of gladiators) who will support them for the duration of their commitment.
2
The training
The gladiators live with the other members of the troop within the ludus itself. They submit to long days of training to work on technique, speed, precision of movements and sequences, without neglecting resistance to effort and endurance. Visitors will practice using the dagger and shield.
3
The locker room
Gladiators compete in very precise duels, one type of gladiator (named by his equipment) with another. In the locker room, visitors will have to compose their outfit according to the role given at the end of the training without making a mistake to embody the good gladiator. Provocator, Murmillo, Thraex... Watch out, everyone has their own panoply! And this is decisive for the fight to come.
In the first pair, the fighters wear the same equipment, so success depends on the technical and sporting abilities of each. For the other duels, the outfits are very different but complementary, the weaknesses of some opposing the strengths of others.
4
The fight
Gladiator shows are both entertainment for the people and an instrument of propaganda. The notables compete to offer the best games to the city, with shows that can sometimes last several days. From behind the scenes of the amphitheater, visitors watch a fight during which the different gestures are deciphered. What if these rules were different from those of our collective imagination, conveyed by art, cinema or advertising?
5
Fame
Gladiators enjoy the favor of the people, and sometimes the attention and largesse of the emperor, for their courage and sense of honor. Their popularity is very close to that experienced today by movie stars or certain sportsmen.
6
End of career
The career of a gladiator ends in three different ways: he dies in combat, he is released early or he comes to the end of his commitment, his contract. Released, he can return to civilian life, re-engage or even become a doctor. And you, visitor of the 21st century, what will you choose?
