An unmissable world premiere! After more than 10 years of world tour and 2 years of redesign in Montignac, the Lascaux 3 exhibition will open its doors at Cap Sciences during summer 2025, marking its one and only stop in France before a new major international tour.

A unique opportunity to discover the wonders of the Lascaux cave and travel back to Prehistory through the brand-new version of the exhibition.

For the first time, immerse yourself in the legendary Hall of the Bulls with a fully reimagined immersive experience, centered around a new monumental facsimile of an entire Lascaux chamber (25 meters of reproduced walls, an installation weighing nearly 4 tons).

The discovery of the Hall of the Bulls triggered a worldwide artistic shock and revolution. It remains the most monumental, powerful, and iconic, yet also the most enigmatic, of all known Paleolithic cave paintings.

In a modular and transportable version, this new immersive experience will embark on an international tour in some of the world’s greatest museums.

The exhibition also features 8 interactive modules, covering everything from the discovery of the cave to its preservation, along with films, a model, reproductions, and artifacts. Finally, the boldest visitors can enjoy a unique virtual reality experience—the only VR experience that allows you to explore, on your own, every chamber and gallery of the Lascaux cave! A moment frozen in time, instantly transporting you in the footsteps of Paleolithic men and women.
